About the Place
Sat in a great position in a very pleasant, quiet residential area in Upper Colwyn Bay, Copthorne Cottage is within easy reach to many tourist hot spots in the area. Only a ten-minute drive to the A55, the main route in and out of North Wales, so you can easily get out and about avoiding the country lanes!
There is so much do in and around Conwy. Within a ten minute drive, you will find The Welsh Mountain Zoo, Bodnant Gardens, Surf Snowdonia….this list goes on! You will be bound to find something the whole family will enjoy!
The Penny Bryn pub, widely regarded as one of the best pubs to eat and drink in the area, is just several minutes walk and the ideal place to go if you are looking to avoid cooking after a day of activities.
Sitting rooms
Two cozy sitting rooms. The main sitting room has a TV, DVD, and wood burning stove making it lovely whatever the weather. The second smaller sitting room has seating for 2 – 3 people and has a selection of books and games for you to enjoy some quality time or some quiet time to read a good book with a glass of wine.
Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped and modern. There is a gas cooker & hob with extractor hood, fridge, freezer, dishwasher & microwave, and of course all the crockery and utensils you will need for a self-catering holiday.
Dining / Conservatory
The dining area/conservatory is a lovely bright space that lets the sunlight flood in. With table and chairs and plenty of space for the children to play you will most likely spend lots of time in this room! The conservatory opens up to the decked seating area.
Bedrooms
Two pretty bedrooms. One is a double bedroom which is on the ground floor, the second is a twin bedroom. Both are decorated in calming, country cottage colors – you will nod off in no time at all!
Bathrooms
The ground floor family bathroom has a bath with a mixer shower, loo, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, and a large shower cubicle.
Porch
Copthorne Cottage has a very handy covered porch area which is the ideal space for any outdoor toys or clothing, flips flops – or muddy boots!
Outside
From the conservatory step onto the decked area with table & chairs, perfect for al fresco dining. The garden is well manicured with flowers and plants and there is a delightful summerhouse (accessed by steps) for you to steal some ‘me’ time.
