About the Place
The Anne Hathaway House was built in as a boarding house for travelers. David and Deedie Runkel purchased the home in and continue to operate it today. Located just four short blocks from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Anne Hathaway House is ideal for large groups of theatergoers, as well as families who wish to spend some vacation time together in Ashland. The Space:
The Anne Hathaway House has seven bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms, a huge commercial kitchen, dining room with seating for 12, a living room with a library, washer and dryer, front porch swing and ample outdoor seating surrounded by a garden.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house, including the use of the washer and dryer and access to the commercial kitchen.
Interaction with Guests:
You’ll have all the privacy you need on site unless of course, you need us. We are located close by and are always available to assist our guests with making plans for theater, restaurants, shopping, wine tasting, hiking, water sports, and so much more!
Getting Around:
We are within walking distance to restaurants, Lithia Park, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, shopping. House Rules: • No smoking • No parties or events • Check-in is anytime after 3PM
