Curating vacation rentals for our guests on our blog is a fun activity, especially clicking through images of unique vacation homes in places I’ve never even imagined visiting before.
Seeing these places online and reading the descriptions are definitely inspiring us to visit these places ourselves, and I hope you feel the same way as you browse through our featured and favorite properties.

ATTRACTIONS: On the boundary between Tuscany and Umbria, the Valtiberina Valley etches out a charming landscape between the Apennines and is watered by the Tiber. Its mixture of art, history, and nature offers a glimpse of that Tuscany which is only partly known and where there is no mass tourism, where peacefulness and enjoyment of life follow the rhythms of nature. It happens that the tourist who goes in search of Arezzo, Monterchi, Sansepolcro e Caprese Michelangelo will follow the same route as Piero della Francesca in the journeys he made for his work. The famous Renaissance painter, who came from this area, is a rare case of a great artist who continued to live and work in the place where he was born. His major works are in Arezzo, Sansepolcro, and Monterchi. Caprese Michelangelo is where the great artist Michelangelo was born. In this area there is also one of the most beautiful medieval village of Italy, Anghiari: If you look up at the town from the valley you can enjoy a wonderful view, but wandering in the streets of the old town is even more delightful. Visitors can walk along the lanes and admire the traditional stone houses, stairways and attractive small squares which reflect the varied history of the town over the centuries. Not far from Arezzo there is Cortona, an incredible Etruscan city with such an incredible view that reaches the Trasimeno lake.
